EXCUSES ARE LIES WE TELL OURSELVES SO THAT IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE OUR FAULT.
Living in Botswana, I could hide behind the excuse that we have a small population of just 2 million and that our orders take longer to arrive because we are across the border. But I made it my reason to succeed.
People in Botswana are very loving and have a culture of supporting each other. We are battling Gender Based Violence as a country, but INUKA is contributing positively to changing that. We are big on women’s empowerment. The more financially stable women are, the less likely they will find themselves in abusive relationships or stuck in one.
To anyone working on being a top 25 Business Leader and feeling it is taking too long, remember, this is NOT a sprint. It is a marathon; pace yourself, keep building, keep digging. Love your teams; do not just focus on Personal PV. The results will show. You have one focus point as a Leader: To impact lives and reach financial freedom.
Know your downlines. Push them and motivate them ACCORDING to their abilities and needs. Celebrate any wins they accomplish, BIG OR SMALL. Set goals for them and watch their lives change. The challenges we get from INUKA help us to stay focused on that goal.
Every quarter, I attempt to achieve all the INUKA Quarterly Incentives: Special Star, Accommodation, and Founders. Because I’m working on a time crunch, those challenges have helped me connect with people ready to change their financial situation.
How do we ensure everyone succeeds?
- We train, not just recruit
- We lead by example
- We celebrate every win
- We build a culture of abundance
- We eliminate excuses
- We overcome obstacles and difficulties
