SUCCESS IS NOT ABOUT AVOIDING OBSTACLES BUT OVERCOMING THEM
2024 was a year of unexpected twists and turns. As I navigated the pregnancy and motherhood journey, I faced challenges that tested my strength and resilience. Giving birth before that time added an extra layer of complexity, and the subsequent diagnosis of jaundice in my baby required us to return to the hospital.
I felt overwhelmed and uncertain about balancing motherhood with my goals in those moments. However, I realized that success is not about avoiding obstacles but overcoming them. I drew strength from within, and with the support of my husband, I persevered.
I received a lot of support from INUKA Leaders. Diamond Leader Ntombevangeli Majikijela and Lilitha Sidlai were my pillars of strength. They did their level best to motivate me to stay on track with my target.
A special thanks to Double Diamond Leader Nandipha Buqa, Sapphire Leaders Nosisa Sombexe and Lunga Sigidi, who offered to do WhatsApp presentations in my Group to keep the fire burning.
Last year, I learned valuable lessons: Life is unpredictable, and challenges will arise. Developing resilience helps you navigate these situations.
My Message of Encouragement: To anyone feeling discouraged or overwhelmed, I want to say: Don’t give up. Keep pushing forward, even when the world’s weight is against you. You are stronger than you think, and you have the power to overcome any obstacle.
